WORK SO FAR :

As part of the next process , you will need to prep & plan for a practical response to your artist's work . Brainstorm using the SCAMPER method - & expand on these ideas visually with sketches, colour & possible images along with notes. The image here shows a BASIC idea of suggested content but your planning should cover 2 x A3 pages to be in depeth enough. You can include planning for photographic shoots here, online tutorials for photoshop etc.

ALSO : Ahead of this week's Formal Assessment , please make sure you have completed :

Timeline
PinCO collage (optional)
2 x A3 pages of Context & background
Detailed analysis of your artists / theme first choice pieces (Look at formal elements of line , focal point, colour , shape, symbolism etc) - this can include some media experiments.
SCAMPER page of ideas.

All sheets for analysis are on the blog under Annotation booklet . Heres the link ...

"SCAMPER"
Use the SCAMPER method to brainstorm ideas for your practical response to the Artist's work.  The examples are below including the "smartie" video we watched in lesson.

Look at including work / links to other artists & please add the 100 word challenge to either this page or the general page.

Add media / practical experiments to the page where appropriate - don't be tempted to start designing full final pieces yet - you are just exploring at this stage.

Literacy : 100 word challenge:

CHOOSING EXPLORATION #1:

Choose your area for exploration '1 carefully - make sure there is enough "mileage" (ie enough to research & also enough to keep your interest. You will need to explore & respond to the work practically so bear this in mind .

Once you have settled on an initial theme, you will need to look closely into the context & background of that area to begin with . Use the sheet on this link to help make notes & do initial research. Context & Background - areas to consider

TIMELINE EG:
